Red Sea Film Festival Announces 2021 Plans

In early March, in light of the global COVID-19 pandemic, we took the necessary decision to postpone the inaugural Red Sea Film Festival. It has become clear that the idea of hosting a physical event in 2020 with no social distancing measures in place is remiss. For this reason, we are declaring the inaugural Red Sea Film Festival as a 'Label Edition.' We want to thank all the filmmakers, juries, industry teams, staff and partners.

“Changing the Script” – Red Sea International Film Festival announces theme and honors three cinematic innovators

Hind Al Fahhad's Project Sharshaf selected in Tribeca Film Institute Network (TFI), in partnership with the Red Sea Film Festival

The Saudi film project, Sharshaf, has been chosen to partake in the Tribeca Film Institute (TFI) Virtual Network, in partnership with the Red Sea Film Festival. Sharshaf, directed by Hind Al Fahhad, written by Hana Alomair, and produced by Talal Ayeel, will represent Saudi Arabia at TFI Network, which will take place from the 27th of April till the 1st of May 2020. TFI Network will be conducted virtually this year due to the ongoing global crisis.
