The Red Sea International Film Festival, Fourth Edition

The Red Sea International Film Festival is the region’s premier cinematic event and the first and only international film festival in Saudi Arabia.

Over 10 full days, the historic old town of Jeddah, “Al Balad,” will transform into a cultural and artistic hub, hosting film stars from both behind and in front of the camera, from all around the world. It’s an extraordinary cinematic celebration for film lovers and creators alike. From captivating and thrilling stories to the wonders of animation and compelling documentaries, the Festival showcases a carefully curated selection of the latest Saudi, Arab, and international films, covering all categories of cinematic storytelling. Some films will be premiered globally, in the Middle East, or the Arab world, exclusively on the Festival’s platform. This is your chance to see films you won’t find anywhere else.

The Festival also welcomes film enthusiasts and filmmakers from Saudi Arabia and beyond, with a wide range of events, programs, activities, and accompanying parties. This is your opportunity to be part of one of the most prominent annual cultural, artistic, and entertainment events on the Kingdom’s calendar.

Every day, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM, you’ll experience the Festival at a stunning new cinema palais, offering a state-of-the-art cinematic experience in Al Balad’s Culture Square. Enjoy delectable food and beverage selections and the excitement of the red carpet. Just steps away, you can explore the lively Festival Garden and the bustling Red Sea Souk, adding even more to your festival experience.

For ease of access, please keep your Red Sea International Film Festival badge with you at all times.

You’ll need your badge to enter the Festival venues. There, you can obtain screening tickets (also online with your badge), attend panels, join masterclasses, access industry events, and board shuttle buses.

You can obtain your badge from the accreditation office. If you misplace your badge, notify the accreditation office immediately. A new badge will be issued within 24 hours.

Non-English language films will be screened with English and Arabic subtitles, and Arabic language films with English subtitles.

Photography, videography, and audio recordings are constantly being taken in all Red Sea International Film Festival venues. The material from the recordings may be used for social media, advertising, and/or marketing purposes. Please note that upon entering a Red Sea International Film Festival venue, you consent to appear in all such media materials without compensation.
