SOUK PROJECT MARKET

The Red Sea Souk Project Market 2024 features a selection of 38 projects including 24 feature films in development or production and 7 works-in-progress.
New for 2024, the selection also presents 7 episodic projects which are being developed through the Red Sea SeriesLab, in partnership with Film Independent.
Taking place from December 7–11, the Project Market is designed to bolster international co-productions and grant access to new projects and talent. This year the call for projects was opened out to include projects by directors from across the Arab World, Africa, and Asia.
12 of the feature projects in development are part of the 2024 Lodge projects and are currently advancing through intensive workshops in collaboration with TorinoFilmLab. Projects will compete for the Red Sea Souk and Red Sea Labs cash awards, provided by the Red Sea Fund and granted by the Project Market juries.
Participating projects are also eligible for additional awards provided by the Red Sea Souk award partners.
