FEATURE FILMS PROGRAM

Previously known as “The Lodge”, the Feature Films Program is Red Sea Labs’ flagship talent initiative, dedicated to empowering visionary teams of Saudi, Arab, Asian, and African filmmakers and producers. This intensive creative and professional training program is designed to take daring ideas from early development to market-ready feature films.

Each year, selected teams receive personalized mentorship and guidance from world-renowned experts across the full spectrum of filmmaking — including directing, screenwriting, cinematography, sound, editing, post-production, financing, and sales.

The program consists of six immersive workshops: the first exclusively for Saudi teams, and the following five bringing together all selected participants to explore their film’s dramatic and production potential.

In addition to script development, participants engage in a tailored producers’ coaching track that emphasizes both artistic and strategic growth. The program offers access to a global network of industry professionals, preparing filmmakers to navigate both the creative and commercial landscapes of international cinema.

The program concludes with a pitching opportunity at the Red Sea Souk, during the 6th Edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival in 2026. Offering direct access to financiers, distributors, and key industry players.
