The SpongeBob Movie: Search For Squarepants is a swashbuckling yarn for all the family. This epic piratical animation takes audiences all the way from Bikini Bottom to Santa Monica Pier with its cast of beloved characters on a new rollercoaster ride. We join SpongeBob as he becomes a big boy, but his bravery is struggling to catch up with his size. Egged on by Mr Krabs' stories of adventure on the high seas, he sets out in search of ghostly pirate ship the Flying Dutchman and its tyrannical, duplicitous captain. Series veteran Derek Drymon directs this fourth SpongeBob feature with the series voice cast all reprising their roles in an animated treasure-chest for Red Sea landlubbers.
This screening of SPONGEBOB is preceeded by an exclusive look at Paramount's brand-new seven-minute action-packed short film TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: CHROME ALONE 2 - LOST IN NEW JERSEY. This first-look combines stylised character design with photo-realistic backgrounds and takes our heroes in a half-shell out of the comfort zone in New York City as they try to solve a mystery and is directed by Kent Seki.

Normal's night of reckoning and west-meets-east thrills and blood-spills is dark, absurdly funny and drenched in its own B movie with A movie viewing sensibility. Back in trenchant Free Fire form, Ben Wheatley directs Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul, the Nobody movies) from a script by Odenkirk and John Wick creator Derek Kolstad. It's mid-winter, and Odenkirk is Ulysses, a laid-back, somewhat oblivious sheriff on a temporary job in a tiny Minnesota town where all is certainly not what it seems — as heavily signalled by an ultra-violent prologue featuring a yakuza standoff in Osaka. Normal is the name of this burg of 1,890 cheerful inhabitants (including cameos from Henry Winkler and Lena Headey), but the film is decidedly anything but.
IRKALLA: GILGAMESH'S DREAM

Nine-year-old dreamer Chum-Chum and Moody, a tough 13-year-old, navigate the harsh streets of Baghdad. Moody is obsessed with escaping to the Netherlands with Chum-Chum and his sister, Sara. Things changes when they meet Maryam, a fiery woman who has converted an old double-decker bus into a mobile school for street kids. After Maryam shows Chum-Chum an animation about the mythical hero Gilgamesh’s journey to the underworld, a new obsession takes hold. But Chum-Chum’s dream collides with a dark secret: Moody’s alliance with a ruthless militia leader and his plot to bomb protestors. Chum-Chum must now confront a brutal reality. Can one child's mythical quest save his friend, or will Moody’s dark path consume them both?
