  • Souk Talks Panel: Cultivating Global Cinematic Talent through Partnership and Exchange presented by Riyadh University of Arts
    11:00 – 12:00 Souk Forum Room 2
The panel explores a defining moment in Saudi Arabia’s creative evolution, the launch of Riyadh University of Arts (RUA) and its association with the University of Southern California’s (USC) School of Cinematic Arts (SCA). This association marks a major stride in shaping the Kingdom’s film education landscape and signals Saudi Arabia’s growing presence within the global cinematic arena.
Through dialogue with leading educators, industry experts, and cultural strategists, the session will examine how education serves as both an engine of innovation and a bridge for international collaboration, aligning with Vision 2030’s ambition to position Saudi Arabia as a global hub for arts and culture. The discussion will delve into the transformative potential of investing in cultural education, not only as a driver for social and economic growth, but as a catalyst for reimagining global arts learning. It will highlight how USC School of Cinematic Art's legacy of cinematic excellence, combined with RUA’s forward-looking vision, can cultivate industry-ready graduates and unlock new pathways for collaboration, cultural exchange, and storytelling that resonate far beyond the Kingdom’s borders.
