Red Sea International Film Festival Fan Zone
Terms & Conditions

By entering and remaining within the Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) Fan Zone (“the Fan Zone”), you (“the Attendee”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, as well as all applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

1. Admission and Access

• Entry Requirements: Access to the Fan Zone may be subject to a valid ticket, wristband, or other form of credential as determined by RSIFF Organizers. These credentials are non-transferable and non-refundable.
• Capacity: RSIFF Organizers reserve the right to limit entry to the Fan Zone based on capacity limits and health and safety regulations, even if the Attendee holds a valid credential.
• Security Checks: All Attendees, bags, and possessions may be subject to search upon entry and at any time while within the Fan Zone. Failure to comply with security checks will result in refusal of entry or immediate removal.
• Age Restrictions: Attendees under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

2. Code of Conduct

• Respectful Behavior: Attendees must behave in a respectful, courteous, and non-disruptive manner toward all other Attendees, staff, and Talent.
• Prohibited Actions: Attendees shall not engage in any form of harassment, discrimination, violence, verbal abuse, or any other behavior that is illegal, disruptive, or deemed offensive by RSIFF Organizers.
• Compliance: Attendees must comply with all verbal and written instructions issued by RSIFF staff, security, and law enforcement.
• Dress Code: Attendees are expected to adhere to a modest and respectful dress code appropriate for a public setting in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. RSIFF Organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any Attendee whose attire is deemed inappropriate or offensive.

3. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited within the Fan Zone and will be confiscated:

• Outside food or beverages (unless medically necessary).
• Weapons of any kind, including knives, firearms, or simulated weapons.
• Illegal substances or drugs.
• Alcohol or tobacco products.
• Any item that could be used as a projectile or deemed a safety hazard (e.g., laser pointers, fireworks).
• Large bags, suitcases, or oversized backpacks (subject to organizer discretion).

4. Photography, Video, and Intellectual Property

• Personal Use: Photography and video recording for personal, non-commercial use are generally permitted. However, flash photography or the use of professional equipment (telephoto lenses, tripods, etc.) without a valid media accreditation is prohibited.
• Celebrity Encounters: Photographing or approaching celebrities or invited guests must be done respectfully and must not impede their movement or the flow of the event. RSIFF Organizers or their representatives may restrict photography/filming at their sole discretion.
• Commercial Use: Any commercial use, reproduction, or distribution of photos, video, or audio taken within the Fan Zone is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from RSIFF.
• Right to Film/Photograph Attendee: The Attendee acknowledges that the Fan Zone is a public event and consents to being photographed, filmed, and/or recorded by RSIFF and its partners. The Attendee grants RSIFF a perpetual, royalty-free license to use their image, likeness, and voice for promotional, advertising, and broadcast purposes without compensation.

5. Liability and Disclaimer

• Assumption of Risk: The Attendee voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the Fan Zone, including any injury or damage to property, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event.
• Waiver of Claims: The Attendee waives all claims for loss, damage, injury, or liability against RSIFF, its affiliates, agents, employees, and sponsors.
• Third-Party Activities: RSIFF is not responsible for any activities, merchandise, or services provided by third-party vendors, sponsors, or exhibitors within the Fan Zone.

6. General Provisions

• Changes and Cancellation: RSIFF Organizers reserve the right to change the Fan Zone operating hours, activities, performers, layout, or to cancel the Fan Zone entirely, at any time, without prior notice and without compensation to the Attendee.
• Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

BREACH OF TERMS & CONDITIONS: Any violation of these terms and conditions may result in immediate removal from the Fan Zone and may lead to a ban from all future RSIFF events.
