Saudi director Faisal Al-Zahrani started making his own short films as a 16-year-old high-school student. His first film as writer, director and cinematographer, From My Tree, was screened at the Red Sea Film Festival in 2022. He is very active on social media, with over 8000 followers on Instagram. He is keen to continue producing films and developing the local industry.
