Merna, a young woman living out of the city is travelling to visit her future mother-in-law. It is clear that this is already a tricky relationship. Her first companion is her father, who is teaching her to drive; he delivers her to her fiancé and they set off together across the desert. Merna is alive to what she sees around her – mountain ranges and wild camels - while Amr demands that she look into his eyes. Well before she reaches journey’ end, she has come to question her relationship with this man, her future and what she wants for herself.
