The Red Sea Fund, a program under the Red Sea Film Foundation, has announced the open call for post-production projects as part of its first cycle for 2024. Filmmakers from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, and Africa can submit their applications from February 6 to February 21, 2024.
The first cycle is dedicated to aiding projects that have finished the filming stage by offering financial grants to help them reach the final version of their projects. Support is offered to feature fiction, documentary, or animation films.
Moreover, highlighting a strategic shift, the Red Sea Fund has updated its cycle schedule for 2024 as follows: the first cycle for post-production projects, the second cycle for production projects, the third cycle for development projects, and the fourth cycle for post-production projects.
Since its inception in 2021, the Red Sea Fund has supported over 256 projects, including feature films, shorts, documentaries, series, and animation films. Many films supported by the Fund have won several international awards over the years.
