Saudi film-maker Alabbas Hamidaddin has a degree In Engineering Administration with honors; he wrote his thesis on animated support systems. In 1992 he established Alsahar Animation in Cairo. He is also manager of MediaBox productions in Saudi. He produced The Knight and the Princess -which was nominated at Annecy in 2020 and is now on Netflix.
