Project Market

The Red Sea Souk Project Market 2024 will present 24 Projects in Development or Production plus up to 10 Works-in-Progress (films in post-production).

The call for entries is now open and we are seeking projects for the 4^th edition in December 2024.

12 projects in development or production plus up to 10 works-in-progress will be selected and presented along with the 12 Red Sea Lodge projects currently being developed through intensive workshops in partnership with the Torino Film Lab.

The Project Market is open to projects with a director who is of Saudi or Arab nationality or origin; of African nationality; or of Asian nationality.

The deadlines are:

• For projects in development or production – 15 July 2024
• For projects in post-production – 29 August 2024

All selected projects will compete for the Red Sea Souk cash awards provided by the Red Sea Fund and awarded by the Project Market juries.

Participating projects will also be eligible for additional awards funded by the Red Sea Souk sponsors and partners.

All projects will be presented to Red Sea Souk industry at live pitching sessions during the Souk. In addition to the presentations, one-to-one meetings will be organized between all project holders and industry guests.
