In-Competition:
1943. Josef is rowing from occupied Denmark to safety in neutral Sweden; you are on board. As the boat crosses the ocean, views of the sea give way to images in his mind’s eye - streets, people and the night he escaped – turning the journey into a living landscape of painful recollections. As dawn draws near, you will witness the trauma of escape and survivor guilt: the pain of one who has left those he loves behind.
