A Lebanese writer and director, and a member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective. She holds an MFA in directing from the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Her short “In White” (2017), premiered at the Clermont Ferrand Film Festival, and screened in more than 30 festivals. In 2019, “Warsha” participated in the Berlinale Talent. Producer

A Syrian builder in Beirut decides to replace a colleague who died in an accident in a towering, hazardous crane. Dozens of metres above the city, away from prying eyes, he experiences the freedom no one grants him elsewhere. His deepest essence breaks through spectacularly.
