The Festival aims to foster collaboration between all elements of the Saudi filmmaking ecosystem by creating meaningful connections with and for the region’s film industry. Generating and evolving this sustainable context beyond the Red Sea International Film Festival project is of paramount importance. The Red Sea Souk will host world-class exhibitor areas for distributors, sales agents, and producers, alongside a curated series of industry-focused ‘in conversations’ and masterclasses. The program prioritizes relationship-building between artists and the industrial sectors and believes one of the best ways to do this is to create fun, genuinely enjoyable networking events and engaging opportunities for industry, filmmakers, and creators to connect face-to-face.
Industry accreditation opens in December 2019. Check back here for details.
