Faisal Baltyuor is a pioneering Saudi producer and executive, serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Red Sea Film Foundation. A key architect of Saudi Arabia\u2019s evolving film industry, Faisal brings over two decades of experience spanning production, distribution, and cultural leadership.<\/p>

Prior to joining the Foundation, Faisal held prominent positions that helped shape the Kingdom\u2019s cinematic landscape, including his role as the first CEO of the Saudi Film Council and the first head of Ithra Cinema. He is also the founder of CineWaves Films, one of the country\u2019s fastest-growing distribution companies, and previously served as CEO of Muvi Studios. Most recently, he launched Riyadh\u2019s first arthouse cinema, Cinehouse \u2014 a milestone that reflects his commitment to expanding access to diverse storytelling.<\/p>

Faisal\u2019s production credits reflect both commercial success and critical acclaim. He executive produced \u201cThe Perfect Candidate,\u201d an official selection at the Venice International Film Festival, and \u201cSattar,\u201d one of Saudi Arabia\u2019s highest-grossing films. He also produced the Netflix Original \u201cFrom the Ashes,\u201d which ranked among the top 10 most-watched films in 40 countries, and co-produced \u201cGoodbye Julia,\u201d winner of the Prix de la Libert\u00e9 at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.<\/p>

As CEO, Faisal leads the Foundation\u2019s mission to champion emerging talent and bold cinematic voices from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, Africa, and Asia. Under his leadership, the Foundation continues to drive artistic innovation and sustainable growth across the regional and international film sectors, in alignment with the Kingdom\u2019s Vision 2030.<\/p>
