These unique workshops will improve participants\u2019 skills in terms of scriptwriting and storytelling form with a focus on research and development, rigorous drafting, and strong aesthetic language and style. The scripts or treatments will be developed and honed while participants work in small groups and assist each other with their projects. We will provide an online learning platform to communicate and cooperate in the time between the workshops.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The workshops revolve around:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Writing and strategy of treatment and a short synopsis<\/li>
  • Improving writing skills<\/li>
  • Gaining skills in research and development<\/li>
  • Storytelling techniques<\/li>
  • Honing dialogue<\/li>
  • Characterization<\/li>
  • Genre expectations<\/li>
  • Rigorous analysis of diverse, successful short scripts<\/li>
  • Adaptation, documentary, and experimentation in fiction<\/li><\/ul>

    • Sessions with renowned industry professionals<\/li>
    • Consistent and critical feedback during and between workshops<\/li>
