Experimental and subversive, this film is considered the most daring work of Raafat El-Mehi. Its main roles are played by two actors for each role—one of whom plays the character in a traditional, dramatic manner, while the other gives it a comic twist. Based on the novel by Fathi Ghanem, the film tells the story of a father who attempts to force his son to marry a woman he does not love. The son’s rebellion escalates into a fury of love, violence, and a pursuit of power.
